Romeo, the head trainer and owner of Platinum K-9, brings 25 years of experience in canine training in Toronto, ranging from basic obedience and dog sports to Police K-9 services. Recognized by the Ontario Solicitor General’s Office as a professional handler and trainer—a distinction achieved by very few—Romeo tailors training methods to each dog's unique temperament and breed. Inspired by his mentor, Jon Naroditsky of Fala Woods K-9, he is committed to providing professional, customized solutions for you and your canine companion. Platinum K-9 is fully insured and bonded.

Services.
Private Sessions
Our private sessions are conducted in your home and is customized and to your dogs and household’s needs. If you’re truly interested in gaining maximum control in the shortest amount of time, this may be a more realistic option. Location is also not limited soley to your home as we often like to work out doors or in the necessary environment required to achieve the desired corrected behavior with your dog.
Private 5 Week Course
The 5-week course is much more structured and focuses on basic obedience and formal manners. We cover all basic commands such as: Heel, sit, down, extended sit stay, extended down stay, come and a finish command to return to your side. We will also concentrate on how to safely play with your dog. It will also provide a strong foundation for off lead control.
Semi Private 5 Week Course (2-3 People)
Our Semi-Private classes are for people wanting to do the 5 week course with another friend or family member. This not only is to help save on the cost of the course but to also to share in the experience of having a buddy to train with. This course is essentially a carbon copy of our 5 week course.
Board and Train in Toronto
We offer board-and-train programs tailored to your dog's needs. Puppies receive foundational obedience training—sit, stay, down, heel, and proper leash walking. Our minimum stay is one week, with three weeks recommended. Housebreaking for puppies starts at $1000/week. Adult dog training is customized to client goals.
Home Boarding in Toronto
We provide an exclusive, personalized boarding experience, accommodating only 1 to 2 dogs at a time in our family home. Your dog will never be kenneled and will enjoy a warm, home-like environment, interacting with our children and personal dogs. They will participate in daily walks and accompany us to client training sessions, where they actively engage in training activities. Advanced reservations are highly recommended to secure your spot.
Consulting
We assist clients in resolving particular or a multitude of behavioral issues, ranging from simple barking to full-out aggression, by providing several options and suggestions. For those looking to add a new puppy, adult, or rescue dog to their family, we offer guidance in selecting the perfect companion tailored to your family's lifestyle. Additionally, we consult on essential areas such as nutrition, crate training, housebreaking, trust, and bond-building exercises. These services can also be conveniently provided from the comfort of your home through online consultations.
